You will be delighted by your green surroundings – the rolling hills of Radnor, the uninterrupted Brecon Beacons National Park and Black Mountains, the amazing 8th century earthworks of Offa’s Dyke. Small Brook Cottage is only a short walk from the idyllic River Wye, a great base for canoeing, fishing and wild swimming.
The character cottage is located behind The Globe at Hay, one of Wales’ favourite live arts venues offering a whole host of entertainment including art exhibitions, comedy and live music. As a little treat, guests at Small Brook have complimentary tickets to access all events during their stay.
With three double bedrooms, there’s room for up to six guests to find a little piece of rustic bliss in one of the UK’s most desirable tourist towns. Our delightful shabby chic self-catering property has access to a large public green courtesy of the Globe at Hay perfect for lawn games or a sunbathe, or enjoy the afternoon sun in the cottage’s enclosed gardens complete with furniture. The kitchen, modern in style and complete with essential amenities including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. The rustic style lounge, complete with a wood burner, is the perfect setting for you to relax after a day exploring. Sit back, catch up and watch a film on the HD TV, or play board games in the dining area with table and chairs for six.
